New Linx product from Clarke and Severn

The introduction of the Linx SG and SR GPS modules and the accompanying master development system from Clarke and Severn Electronics represents a significant addition to the Linx line.

The SG and SR GPS embeddable modules offer a high-performance GPS receiver solution in a compact ROHS smd package.

The modules SiRFstar III low-power chipset minimises power consumption and provides a high level of sensitivity in dense bushland or urban canyons.

The receiver features an onboard LNA and saw filter, as well as an integrated (SR version) or external antenna (SG version).

The Linx MDEV-GPS Master Development System contains everything needed to rapidly evaluate the SG or SR Series modules and intergrate them into your product development.

The system can be attached to a PC via a USB and operated using the software supplied.

The software shows satellite positions, SNR, satellites in use, NMEA data, coordinates and even the module's position on Google Maps.
 
Typical applications include positioning and navigation, location and tracking, security and loss prevention, surveying, logistic and fleet/asset management.
