Supplied air (or air supplied) refers to respirators that provide the user with clean, breathable air from a self-contained source, such as a cylinder, or via an airline from a source outside the contaminated atmosphere. Supplied air respirators are used in atmospheres that are determined to be IDLH or Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health. These respirators are used in a myriad of applications by military personnel. Scott Safety currently offers a range of SCBA, Airlines and Escape Respirators.
