The changes primarily affect the connectors in the MINI-SNAP PC series.
The design has been adapted from the previous grooved outer sleeve to the ODU design used in the metal connectors of the L and K series and the ODU MEDI-SNAP connector family.
Until now, the ODU MINI-SNAP PC series was available in the colors black and white only.
With the MINI-SNAP PC facelift, the standard available color is grey, which is similar to the grey used for the MEDI-SNAP.
It is still possible to obtain the models in black and white.
The connector design has been simplified, particularly for the shielded and sealed models, allowing corresponding simplification of the assembly.
Versions with metal insides are no longer being offered.
The new and old MINI-SNAP PCs can be distinguished by position 6 of the article number.
Until now, the housing color was encoded here as 8 (black) or 3 (white).
In the new MINI-SNAP PC, the housing color is encoded with letters: G (grey), S (black) or W (white).
The new connector version is completely plug and assembly-compatible with the previous models.
