Pioneer releases handheld PC

Pioneer Computers Australia has released the DreamBook Handheld PC SC82.

Powered by a Marvell XScaleTM PXA270 520Mhz processor, the DreamBook SC82 uses the Microsoft CE .NET 5.0 operating system.

The versatile handheld PC supports open architecture, featuring the user accessible 1 SD Slot.

It has optionally integrated Wi-Fi + Multi RF + GPRS/EDGE, optionally integrated 1D or 2D barcode scanner and optional GPS or RFID expansion module.

The SC82 has an operational temperature between -10°C and 50°C.

Its storage temperature is between -20°C and 60°C.

The DreamBook SC82 is IP65 certificated.

It is tested to be able to sustain a 1.5m drop onto concrete.
