The inaugural Cyber Security Summit 2011 was held on 25-26 July 2011 at Hotel Realm in Canberra. Hosted by ADM events, the summit gathered Defence and National Security stakeholders to address current and emerging cyber threats to australia's security.

Australian Navy joined China for maritime exercise

HMAS Ballarat docked on the Bund River is Shanghai.

HMAS Ballarat, has completed a five-day ship visit to Shanghai for exercises that involved a variety of interactive activities including communications and rescue exercises the PLA-Navy.
