The new line includes a compact product design with a shorter plug and a low profile receptacle for restricted space requirements.
The UltiMate line of connectors is made from high-resistant aluminium, making it 50 per cent lighter than typical brass connectors.
With a rugged design for harsh and demanding environments, as well as vibration and corrosion resistance, the connectors are immune to fog, salt spray (5 per cent 35°C, MIL STD-202 Method101A), sand, and moisture.
Usage is guaranteed for 10,000 mating cycles.
The first product in the range is the Fischer LandForce Series of compact, rugged and lightweight connectors offering robust keying and IP68/69K sealing level with Fischer's facilitated cable assembly solutions.
LandForce has EMC 360-degree high-performance shielding, tested according to IEC norm 605 12-13-3, four extremely robust mechanical codings allowing an easy mating even in the dark, and a wide range of configurations including multiple contacts from two to 19 poles.
The Fischer LandForce Series is available with two locking systems: a push-pull locking system designed for ease of use, safety of mating and speed of connection and disconnection; and an emergency release system.
The LandForce series is CBRN ready.
Fischer Connectors are distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Soanar.
