The company says the fans are suitable to power and energy companies as well as large mines that use power transformers.
If a company's transformer is loaded to the point where the radiators overheat, the company says, cooling it with a transformer fan is equivalent to upgrading the equipment, extending the life of the transformer.
Instead of retrofitting expensive additional equipment, a company can cool the transformer and allow the operator to run it more efficiently and obtain greater output.
Fanquip transformer cooling fans are available in a range of diameters with fans speeds from 300rpm up to 1440rpm.
The product can be applied to new transformers as well as retrofitted to transformers already in service.
